With the back door open on ThawBUSTER, you can see the clean design and logical layout of the hoses, boiler and other equipment. The hose connections are color coded and let you perform work in four different locations at the same time. The machine is small enough to let you work in a tight space, yet large enough to allow you plenty of access to all the equipment inside.
Once the hoses are in place at the worksite, the machine can be closed tight in order to allow for more efficient running. Once the unit is set up, it can be locked and works independent of the operator. This sturdy 10-foot aluminum box is situated on a 12-foot, custom-built, dual-axle trailer that is designed for a lifetime of rugged use.
The boiler inside ThawBUSTER is constructed for use in extreme conditions. It heats water to 180 degrees and can thaw 1,000 square feet of frost to a depth of two feet in 24 hours. In smaller excavations of 500 square feet or less, our units have thawed up to 8 feet of frost in 24 hours.
