Calvin Heaters is an Oklahoma corporation that produces ThawBUSTER™, an efficient heating system to allow for any type of wintertime construction. ThawBUSTER has been proven in the field to be a quick way to heat and dry the ground, cure concrete and thaw pipelines in a wide variety of cold-weather applications.
• Heating. ThawBUSTER uses a diesel-fired boiler to heat fluid up to 180 degrees and disperse it through five 500-foot hoses, allowing for concentrated or wide-area ground heating.
• Curing. ThawBUSTER has been proven to heat the ground and forms for concrete pours in freezing temperatures. Once the concrete is poured, Calvin Heaters keep the concrete from freezing, expediting the curing process in below-zero temperatures.
• Thawing. ThawBUSTER has been used to thaw water main problems 10 feet deep or 500 feet long, with four separate, lightweight hoses capable of being used independently of one another. Up to 1,000 square feet of frost can be thawed to a depth of two feet in 24 hours. In more concentrated situations, 500 square feet can be thawed up to a depth of eight feet in 24 hours.
